One crew profile, not five folders

Crew information tends to spread out: phone contacts, shared folders, spreadsheets, old emails and text threads. FireworkOS puts the crew member’s operational record in one profile: contact information, company roles, qualifications, credential and document records, expiration dates, training history and show assignments.

The point is not paperwork for paperwork’s sake. It is making the record useful when the scheduler decides who belongs on a show.

Roles should mean something

A company may distinguish lead shooters, shooters, firing operators, CDL/Hazmat drivers, setup crew, safety roles, administrators or other positions. FireworkOS organizes those roles so “crew” is not one giant bucket.

If a job needs a qualified driver, the scheduler should not have to remember which of thirty people has the right credential. If a role requires a document the company tracks, that status should be visible.

Expiration dates should create visibility before emergencies

Credentials rarely expire conveniently. FireworkOS tracks expiration dates for crew documents and qualifications so the office has a forward-looking view instead of discovering a problem during dispatch.

The system does not automatically determine whether someone is legally qualified for a specific task; requirements vary. It gives the company visibility into the records it has decided matter.

Assign the person to the show — not just a text thread

Once the right people are identified, the assignment belongs on the show record: who is working, what role they are filling and which show they are assigned to. The show becomes the source of truth instead of a disappearing group chat.

Crew readiness is separate from Magazine

Magazine is for ATF magazine and log recordkeeping. Crew profiles, qualifications, credentials, training and assignments live in Crew/Readiness.

The magazine answers questions about explosive material and magazine movement. Crew answers questions about people. The show connects the two where needed.

Training records complete the picture

Training history belongs with the person too. FireworkOS keeps training records associated with the crew member so the company can see what has been completed and when without creating another spreadsheet.

This can support onboarding, recurring internal training, role development and documenting company expectations. FireworkOS does not decide what training the law requires; it records the information the company uses.

Better readiness means fewer Saturday-morning surprises

Crew software does not make someone competent. But disorganized records make it easier to assign the wrong person or miss an expired document.
